Housing Availability and Cost

Harlow offers the perfect range of housing options for those seeking to live and work in the area. Surrounded by an attractive rural hinterland, there are homes available in appealing settings and within close access to the town. Within Harlow itself there is a wide and significant choice of private and affordable social housing underway or in prospect.

The East of England Plan calls for at least 508,000 new dwellings across the region between 2001 and 2021 and Harlow is in line to see the highest number of these, with 16,000 new homes planned.
