Harlow College

Harlow College is an established, successful and expanding Further Education College. A wide range of courses are offered and include Vocational IT, Vocational Media and Vocational Business. The College has earned itself a fantastic reputation for its Journalism courses and quality of teaching. It has been named, by the National Council for the Training of Journalists, as one of its top-performing accredited institutions. One of the six original NCTJ training colleges, ex students include Piers Morgan, Jeremy Clarkson, Martin Bell and the BBC's Michael Buerk.

 

Anglia Ruskin University Centre, Harlow

A partnership between Anglia Ruskin University and Harlow College has brought to fruition a new university campus in the town. A number of students are already booked into courses in advance of the completion in Summer 2011.

Initially courses will have a partial focus in the area of journalism, in order to further embed the expertise from the College. The initial six degree courses will be IT, Business Management, Early Years Teaching, Journalism, Sports Journalism and Public Services.
