Stansted Airport
Just a 25 minute drive and an 18 minute train ride from Harlow, Stansted is on the doorstep for business.
It has become Britain's third busiest airport and is the main home of the leading scheduled airlines, together offering the world's widest choice of European destinations. More than 4.5 million business passengers travel through the airport every year.
Long haul services to the Far East are also now being offered. The airport is the UK base for AirAsia X, a low-cost long haul carrier to Kuala Lumpur connecting to South East Asia and Australia. A global leader in freight operations, Panalpina has also selected the airport as it's UK base.
Stansted Airport currently handles a total of 22.8 million passengers per annum and, with planned capacity improvements to its existing runway, is seeking to expand services to 35 million passengers by 2015. 29 airlines fly from Stansted to over 160 destinations worldwide. The airport provides over 26,000 car parking spaces.
The airport offers meeting and conference facilities at the United Business Centre close to the airport with rooms for up to 30 delegates and full secretarial support.
Stansted is seeking approval for a second runway which could potentially expand passenger throughput to around 68 million by 2030.
